Biography (short)

Duncan is a composer, lecturer and animateur, born and raised in London. His compositional interests encompass concert music, cross-arts collaboration (film, fine art and contemporary dance), computer music, electro-acoustic composition and writing for amateurs. His most recent projects have included experimentation with varied temperaments, psychoacoustics and spectral analysis, areas that he is researching as part of his PhD at Trinity Laban under the supervision of Michael Finnissy.

He currently teaches composition at Trinity College of Music and Goldsmiths College, University of London whilst being the incumbent Composer in Residence at the Handel House Museum. Upcoming projects include new works for the Pegasus Choir, Juice Vocal Trio and Piano Circus.
